Cotton University is an Assam-based college. It is located in Guwahati. It was established in 1901. Still, there were some changes made and then it was established as Cotton University in 2017. That means it became a University a few years before. Initially, it was established as Cotton College. The founder of this university was Sir Henry Stedman Cotton. If we talk about the Vice Chancellor, then his name is Professor Ramesh Chandra Deka. The Governor of Assam is the Chancellor of this University.
